Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was great.  We got up early, saw what the bunny brought the girls, and got ready for church.  We went to a new church this Easter near our house, that some good friends of ours go to.  It's a Methodist Church, which is what we all are.  I feel funny saying we are Methodist since we are not exactly regular church goers by any means.  But, Dave and I were both baptized in Methodist churches as babies,  Dave grew up going to one, and we both went to Methodist Colleges, and our children have all been baptized in Methodist churches.  We tried to go to his church that he grew up in, but it wasn't that close to our house, and their wasn't much of a younger crowd.  Anyways, our friends invited us to go, this one is really close by, and I trusted my friends judgement that this was a nice place.  We ended up loving it!  Everyone was nice, a ton of younger people, but still a nice traditional feel, and we saw a lot of people we knew.  The girls loved seeing their friends, and enjoyed a egg hunt before service.  I went back this Sunday with the kiddos, and this might become a regular thing for us.... I hope so anyways....

After church, we had an easter lunch with my family, visited his family some, and did another egg hunt with his brothers neighbors, and then we hung out for the rest of the day. It was a great Easter with family and friends.
